Coal Harbour Apartment
This two bedroom apartment in the 28 year old high-rise building was in dire need of a major update. Everything was gutted down to the bare concrete walls. Our client wanted a very modern interior aesthetic.
In order to create a more luxurious and spacious feel, the second bedroom wall was removed and converted into the open dining/work area which flowed seemlessly from the kitchen/living areas.
Main Focus
The apartment has spectacular ocean and mountain views which was the main focus of the design. Natural wood floors were used to soften the hardness of the concrete walls.
Living Room
A light grey sectional sofa was incorporated to blend into the clean modern aesthetics of the apartment.
Kitchen
The flush cabinets with recessed drawer pulls and slatted upper cabinet doors gave this kitchen the clean modern european look the client was looking for.
Kitchen Island​
Grey concrete textured engineered stone countertops were used to contrast the lighter cabinets and light wood floors.
Dining Room
This was the second bedroom which was converted into the open dining room by removing the wall.
Blending Spaces
By removing the wall, the apartment felt a lot more spacious. The washer/dryer was cleverly concealed into the hall way.
Dining Room
Built in cabinets were designed to maximize storage space and cool modern chandelier was chosen to compliment the white marble dining table.
Entrance Closet
The existing drywall was removed and the exposed concrete walls were finished with a concrete plaster finish to smoothen out the flaws. Concealed tracks and tinted black glass was used for the closet.
Principal Bedroom Ensuite
Sliding black tinted glass doors allowed daylight into the bathroom. All the door tracks were recessed into the new dropped ceiling.
Principal Bed
A custom built natural oak wood slatted headboard panel and floating bedside tables enhanced the modern aestetics.
Guest Bathroom
Concrete style porcelain tiles and custom wood vanities were designed to fit the space perfectly.

Modern matt black faucets and two-toned vessel sinks blend harmoniously with the luxurious modern feel.
